《亚马逊的眼泪》是韩国MBC电视台为庆祝建台49周年而制作的大型纪录片，制作人员冒着生命危险深入亚马逊丛林拍摄，目睹和感受当地陌生的文明以及人类贪婪对雨林生态系统日益严重的破坏。该片耗资15亿韩元，耗时250天拍摄，并由《善德女王》的人气男星金南吉担任旁白，播出后备受好评，被誉为韩国有史以来最成功的电视纪录片。《亚马逊的眼泪》电视版播出时共分三集，后剪为85分钟的电影版在剧场播放。
