Ayşe, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. “月读”是希望与梦想交会的虚拟空间，而舞台幕布将缓缓升起，见证几位少女在此谱写短暂却珍贵的相遇篇章。                                                                      　　不久的未来……                                                                      　　东京的 17 岁高中生酒寄彩叶过着非常忙碌的生活，努力在打工和学业之间寻找平衡。她的纾压方式是观看很有人气的月见八千代直播，八千代管理名为“月读”的线上虚拟空间。                                                                      　　彩叶时常光顾月读，在那里可以体验不同的人生，自由挥洒创意。她就靠着支持八千代度过空闲时间，还会玩战斗游戏赚一点外快。有一天，在回家路上，彩叶发现一根电线杆闪耀着奇异光芒，没想到电线杆里竟然凭空冒出一个可爱的宝宝。彩叶没办法随手抛弃宝宝，只好把她抱回家，眼睁睁看着她迅速长成一个跟自己同龄的少女。                                                                      　　“你是辉耀姬吗？”                                                                      　　这是你绝对不曾看过的辉耀姬物语。

　　故事一开始，我们见到了12岁的扎凡（扎芙林·宰丽扎尔 Zafreen Zairizal 饰），一个叛逆而无忧无虑的女孩。然而，她的身体开始发生可怕的变化，而她却试图否认和掩饰这些变化，希望在学校里保持正常的生活。随着朋友们对扎凡的排挤和攻击，情节逐渐升级，达到了一个临界点，整个学校陷入恐慌。　　学校里关于厕所里藏着一个暗影的传说加剧了恐惧氛围，而一位自告奋勇的医疗官决定赶走困扰众人的恶魔。医疗官很快发现扎凡可能是问题的根源，打算为她进行驱魔。扎凡的内心状态宛如一只被拖出栖息地的受惊老虎，她最终决定向众人展示真实的本性，包括愤怒、狂暴和美丽。这可能是一个关于接受自己真实面貌的故事，同时也涉及到对于社会标准和期望的反抗。
