庞玉龙,黄柏钧,张沙沙,郑晓民,何涌生生物化学专家明翰受警局顾问沃克教授推荐，协助警方调查不明水生物离奇杀人案件。开始众人都深信是鬼神之说出来害人，明瀚不以为然坚信自己的判断，随着案件的侦破，明翰得知凶手就是他寻找多年的父亲明智，当年父亲和沃克教授一起秘密实验时，不幸意外感染，变异成了今天肆意杀人的河童。 最终真相大白原来这一切都是沃克教授所为，为了利益他背着明智进行非法人体实验，当明智不幸感染时，他不仅没有医治明智还把他当成了意外的惊喜，对他进行了人体试验，导致明翰的母亲无人照顾病死家中多日。最终父子二人联手协助警方摧毁了这个犯罪组织。

Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
