Ayşe, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 故事讲述了Lea在酒吧遇到Rocco并成为他的情人的故事。他们的秘密恋情仅限于酒店房间，当李开始渗透到罗科的生活中，超越了他们的秘密遭遇时，他们的关系发生了险恶的转折。

　　诸家老太有两个儿子梦龙和梦飞，以及一个养孙国荣。16年前，一伙以张振邦为首的歹徒为了报复诸老太在公安局工作的丈夫，欲把梦龙和梦飞活埋，国荣的父亲得知后，救出了兄弟俩，自己却被烧死，诸老太为了报恩，收养了国荣，并且对他十分疼爱。不想，16年后的今天，国荣却陷入了张的贩毒集团。梦龙出于对国荣的爱护，在知道国荣贩毒后，私下包庇他。在公安局工作的梦飞在缉拿国荣的过程中，国荣因拒捕被击毙，梦龙被梦飞带上了手铐。
