Ayşe, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. ⊙《曼谷保镖2》的故事： 影片故事讲述拔泰王锦鲁饰演的东南亚某小国特工翁坤，为了调查一伙恐怖份子，秘密潜入泰国曼谷执行任务，并化装成为流行歌星，混入唱片公司追查。他老婆并不知道他的真实身份，因为翁坤是个十足的“妻管严”，但要命的是，他在泰国无可救药爱上了一个漂亮美眉……与此同时，恐怖份子也要发动大规模袭击了，翁坤如何能制止这场破坏？ ⊙《曼谷保镖2》的看点： 继2005年大卖座的第一集之后，《曼谷保镖》于今年拍出了续集，有“泰国周星驰”之称泰国喜剧明星拔泰王锦鲁继续自编自导自演，继续请来《拳霸》东尼·嘉参与演出。影片向周星驰、成龙电影偷了师，并且自己恶搞了《拳霸》《冬荫功》等片，拔泰王锦鲁（《拳霸》另一主演）演出非常出彩过瘾。Tony Jaa则之是客串身份，在片中有一场打斗，另外自己还拿《冬荫功》开涮，十分的“搞”。
