剧情提要
故事发生在1996年之前的香港，女主雪莉在自己的婚礼现场遭遇劫匪挟持，并目睹丈夫死于匪徒枪下。无法走出阴霾的她现于一家射箭馆任职。台风之夜，她意外滞留楼内，目击同一帮匪徒在大厦内杀人，她也不慎暴露了自己的踪迹，在惊惶不安的逃亡过程中，她意外遇到了同为滞留者的盲眼老人南哥，两人一边抵抗匪徒的无情追杀，一边设法逃离这栋噩梦般的大厦。然而穷凶极恶的匪徒竟要杀人灭口，雪莉与南哥在信号中断、出口全部被封的大楼内，苦苦找寻着活下去的办法……

Ayşe, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 蓝宇
